August/September: RESPECT
  • Treat other people the way you want to be treated!
  • Play nicely and include everyone.
  • Watch your words...they can hurt or build up!
  • Use good manners towards others.
  • Put yourself in someone else's shoes.

October: RESPONSIBILITY
  • Keep things organized
  • Turn in your work on time
  • Think about how your actions will affect others.
  • Be responsible for YOU!
  • Choose to do the right thing-even if you think you're the only one.
November: FAIRNESS
  • If you get more than you need, give one to a friend.
  • Include other people-don't play favories.
  • Don't brag or blame. Be a good sport!
  • Help others in need.
December: Generosity
  • Help others in need.
  • Share what you have with people who don't.
  • Be thankful.
January: COURAGE
  • Don't wait for something good to happen-be brave and make it happen.
  • Don't be a bystander. Be brave and keep others from being bullied.
  • Take healthy risks.
  • If someone is bothering you, let your teacher or counselor know right away instead of getting even. We're all here to help you!

February: KINDNESS
  • Be kind to everybody. Everyday.
  • Surprise others with random acts of kindness.
  • Smile-It might make someone's day!
  • Show kindness to someone around you.
March: HONESTY
  • Take responsibility for your own actions before blaming someone else.
  • Be reliable-do what you say you'll do.
  • Honesty earns respect.
  • Do your own work.
April: PERSEVERANCE
  • Never give up on worthy goals.
  • Support each other when things are hard. Someday it might be you that needs support!
  • Always try your best.
  • Be proud of your accomplishments!
May: CITIZENSHIP
  • Be the best "YOU"!
  • Be a friend.
  • Respect the rights of other people around you.
  • Participate in school activities.
  • You always have a choice to buildup or tear down. Your words are powerful!
