Conference Time:  2:00 to 2:45

"A teacher's purpose is not to create students in their own image, but to develop students who can create their own image."

Birthday Treats:   We love celebrating birthdays!  Students may bring a treat for each child (22) in their homeroom, which is store bought not homemade.  These can be dropped off or brought in by the student.  We celebrate in homeroom during 1st block from 8:40-10:10.  I would love to receive an email prior to the day you are bringing in the treat just to be sure that there is not a schedule change on that particular day.
 Thank you.  Mrs. Short

Parent Information Night:

Welcome to 6th Grade!
I am looking forward to a wonderful year of learning with each student.  We are very fortunate to have a student teacher beginning the year with us.  Ms. Hooper, from Texas A&M, will be with us each day until mid-November.  The students already love having her in class!  I look forward to meeting you all very soon.
